To Whose Lap This Landed In, I hope I didn't disturb you from your slumber at such a late hour, but then again my owl wouldn't just throw this on some random sleeping person either. Maybe you are awake for the same reasons that I am, anymore I simply just can't sleep. There are too many thoughts rambling in my mind to even think about sleeping. Regardless of the lack of sleep, I hope that this letter finds you well, and perhaps you can cure me of my boredom.

Your stupid owl just flew straight into me. I hate owls, I can't see this being an enjoyable experience for me. I'll make a sacrifice given the fact that everyone's asleep and I'm not. I doubt I'll have much success in curing your boredom since the only things I am good at involve cursing mudbloods and being attractive. I'll give it my best shot though.

Dearest Haven, I am terribly sorry she ran into you. For some reason she has a tendency of doing these things. I scolded her and told her to be gentle with you...but just in case she does the opposite, you can swat at her if she is misbehaving. The majority of owls are unpleasant, that's why I got the smallest one, my little Tawny...you have to admit she is quite adorable. Anyways, I believe I've ran into you a couple of times before. Actually, I have witnessed one of your cursings of a mudblood...it's so unfortunate their parents are not of magic descent. Oh, well, we can't cure the world of them all anyways. I'll give you the attractiveness part, shame this isn't in person, then it could be entertaining.

Emmelia,
I'd do more than just swat your stupid owl if it tried anything. It is not adorable, all owls are absolutely foul. Yeah, we've spoken before, unless there's another Emmelia. You're the hot one? We could easily cure the world of mudbloods. If only there was somebody to like, lead us all the killing them. I'm tempted to start up some kind of rampage myself.
Entertaining in what way? Am I to take some sort of implication from that? Because I am. You're welcome to jump in my bed any time you want.

Dearest Haven, Oh, I bet you would definitely murder my owl if you had the chance. And I'm the one and only. The hot one. So, that's what they have deemed me. Hmm. You're right we could easily cure the world of mudbloods, if only there were that one person. You can take whatever implication you want, love. I may have to take that offer up some day.

Emmelia,
I'd murder every owl if I had the chance. I'd murder pretty much everything if I had the chance, apparently. No, I'm kidding, but I seem to be talking about that a lot right now. I'd lead you all to killing mudbloods, but I've never been much of a leader. I bet somebody'll come along eventually though since so many share our views.
Given that you're "the hot one", I would not object to you joining me even in my worst hour. I can't say that my bed would be the best place for that, however, since I share a room with a bunch of pricks.

Dearest Haven, You'd be surprised just how close a leader is coming, but that's a later conversation. Not quite one to be discussed by owl. Why haven't we had an actual conversation sooner, Haven?
Ah, yes the boys dorms. Full of some who are quite nasty...I swear some of our classmates are just...awful. But I do know a room that would fit purposes that would be much better than your bed.

Emmelia,
I know which 'leader' you're talking about, I believe, but he's done virtually nothing so far. He'll fizzle away just like everyone else.
We haven't had a conversation sooner because I tend not to talk to people whose names I haven't heard of before. Is your family important, Emmelia?
They're nasty, but their nastiness is usually funny. They usually tell me that I'm too nice, though I can't see why considering I'm not exactly 'nice' when I'm with them. So when I'm not on the verge of falling asleep, heading down to that room would be an excellent idea.

Dearest Haven, That's what you believe. Yes, my family is of great importance. My father works as an Unspeakable, my mother is a housewife. Typical Pureblood family. Yes, often it is funny, but sometimes it's a little overboard and barbaric. You? Too nice? That actually gave me a little laugh. Yes, agreed, when you're not falling asleep I'll show you the Room.

Emmelia,
In which case, I'd be happy to devote a few moments of my life to you.
Honestly, I am a nice guy - at least when compared to the rest of the house. I don't know why I'm saying this, as I usually disagree with that statement, but there you go. I'm in a strange mood.
Your stupid owl just bit me! I stunned it for a few seconds in punishment. It now seemed pointless as it just hopped up as usual afterwards and flew off with my letter.

Dearest Haven, Well, I'm glad I have your seal of approval. I'm not saying your not nice or anything in that matter. You are far nicer than half the men in this House. Tawny is angry that I'm not giving her treats since she bit you. I gave her a good scolding. Hopefully that doesn't happen again...I'm very very sorry...and if it does, well, stun her again.

Emmelia,
You don't even know me yet. I could be lying when I tell you that I'm nice.
I wish mail was via rats or something. Or even cats. Sadly I don't know anyone who owns either.
What year are you in, anyway? You would've thought we'd have spoken more than just via owl in the past...[

Dearest Haven, For some reason I think you are telling the truth about you being nice. The majority of males in the Slytherin house alone just look at my looks, think that I'm only attractive and don't even want to hold a conversation with me. Sometimes I wish I wasn't part veela. You are one of the few guys that actually talk to me. The cat is named Echo, I've had her for a year. Black cats are so cute and interesting. They get such a horrible rep. I hope she treats you better than my owl. I'm in my final year here. I hate to admit but I'm going to miss this place a little when I graduate. All I hope is the man that I wind up marrying doesn't want a typical Pureblood housewife. I actually plan on working.

Emmelia,
Oh, you're part veela? So that's why you're so much hotter than... everyone. Talking to people is a lot more fun than looking at them.
You have a cat...? Why? I thought only mudbloods had cats.
I'm in my final year too. I guess we just never sat by each other in class or anything then. You're gonna work? Fair enough then. I wouldn't really care what the person I marry does. It's not like it'd affect me much. So yeah, you should work, I guess.

Dearest Haven, Yes, I'm part Veela. Which explains a lot of things actually. It's hard to have normal conversations with the male population around here, they always wind up staring...or drooling...which really grosses me out. Isn't she precious? No! Not only mudbloods have cats, I'm getting a dog too when I move out of my parents place. I'm a huge animal lover, I guess it's just their faces that get to me. It's a shame that we haven't. I'm really enjoying this conversation. I'm planning on becoming a Dragonolgoist, travel the world and study dragons, how perfect is that? Or if that falls through (which I plan on not happening) then I can always go Pro in Quidditch. I think my family would prefer the Dragonologist part, they only approve of me playing Quidditch to a certain extent. What do you plan on doing once you leave here?
